The season of appetite has arrived! From late October to early May, the Seto Inland Sea coast near Himeji Castle is in peak oyster season. After exploring the castle, why not enjoy freshly grilled or raw oysters and other seafood delicacies at a charming seaside oyster hut?

Deep Himeji Stories: Elvin and His Family Discover Castle and Ramen in Himeji

We had the pleasure of guiding Mr. Elvin and his wonderful family from California 🌴.
Originally from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, they were such a warm and close-knit family, with Elvin at the center radiating energy and kindness.

At Himeji Castle 🏯, they explored the interior with great curiosity, asking many insightful questions. Afterward, they enjoyed a delicious bowl of ramen 🍜 at Zundouya, followed by a leisurely stroll along Omizosuji Street 🌸, soaking in the local atmosphere.

I personally felt a deep sense of connection, as I had visited friends in Puerto Rico in my younger days 🌎. This shared link sparked engaging conversations, making the tour even more special.

Though the tour lasted only four hours ⏳, it was filled with laughter, discovery, and meaningful moments. It was truly a joy to spend such a memorable time together. Thank you so much 😊!
